Subject/Title of Window: Christ in the Temple
Brief Description of Subject: Shows Jesus as a young boy left behind when his parents left, teaching in the temple. Shows Mary coming to Him, and 4 men with a scroll and book in the background area. Includes part of design used in oldes window (Presentation of the Child), such as 10 Commandments, drapery and tassels, architectural design.
At the bottom of the window is a hidden tribute to the donor with a figure of a cobbler. His wife is represented by his wife Ruth, who is shown as a biblical woman carrying a sheaf of wheat.
Inscriptions: Luke 2:41-50.
