Subject/Title of Window: Life of Christ
Brief Description of Subject: Set of six rectangular windows, all in a row, representing the Life of Christ. Donated by various parishioners, in memory of various parishioners. Windows were made by Richard E. Hanley, who studied under Andrew Maglia, of Sicily. Hanley used medieval techniques to create windows.
All windows made with Opalescent Glass, Antique/Cathedral Glass, and Lead Came.
Jewels or Cast Glass used in windows 1, 4, 5, 6.
Enamels used in 2.
Etching or sandblasting used in 1.
From left to right:
1: Star of Bethlehem.
2: Water pouring from a shell, representing Our Lord's Baptism. Holy Spirit descending in form of dove.
3: Two fish and five loaves of bread, representing the Feeding of the Five Thousand. A fishing net in the background.
4: Sheaves of wheat.
5: Cross in front of the globe. Sacred Heart on right.
6: A angel with trumpet, announcing Our Lord's Resurrection and Ascension.
