Brief Description of Subject: This window, entitled "Jesus Blessing the Children," is located in an office that looks out onto a corridor in the Educational Wing. It receives no sunlight and is viewed from the corridor by turning on the lights in the office.

The story of "Jesus Blessing the Children," is found in all of the Synoptic Gospels. This is Mark's version as written in Mark 10:13 - 16 ESV:

"And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, 'LET THE CHILDREN COME TO ME; do not hinder them, for to such belong the kingdom of God. Truely, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.' AND HE TOOK THEM IN HIS ARMS AND BLESSED THEM, LAYING HIS HANDS ON THEM."

This window was designed and made by Harry Flagg. He donated the window to the Church in thankfulness of 50 years of marriage to his wife Elaine.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
