Brief Description of Subject: Shows Christ ascending to Heaven, in white and blue garments, hands outstretched, showing marks of the crucifixion, in golden rays of light coming from Heaven. Architectural design still used for scene. Christ is above pink and blue clouds. Position of face was changed from original cartoon.
Inscriptions: On a scroll: Acts:6-11. At the bottom of the window is a hidden tribute to the donor, i.e. a figure of a cobbler which is the shoemaker, and his wife Ruth. who is shown as a biblical woman carrying a sheaf of wheat.(bottom left)
