Subject/Title of Window: The Rose Window

Brief Description of Subject: Symbolizes Christ’s sacrifice on the cross because of his love for all mankind. The centerpiece is a pelican. The pelican is said to pierce itself and feed its own blood to its offspring, symbolizing the sacrifice of Christ. The love the pelican has for its offspring is reminiscent of the love of Christ has for man. Each small design has four points. These represent Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Inscriptions: Gift of Sunday School Class


Condition of Window: Good
