Rev. 21:6 the Lord God said :I am the alpha and the omega, the Beginning and the End." Next lens down is a picture of the 2nd Joyful Mystery of the Rosary -- the Visitation. Scripture Background: Visitation is covered in Luke 1:39-45 (paraphrasing) after the Annunciation Mary goes to see Elizabeth, who is pregnant with John the Baptist, to tell her the news of the Annunciation. It is famous for Mary's words that has become known as the Magnificat. Luke 1: 15 -25 paraphrasing -- Elizabeth's husband Zachariah is a priest at the Temple in Jerusalem. When he was burning incense at the Temple an angel appeared to him and said that although they were in old age he and Elizabeth would have a son (John the Baptist).

Miracle at Cana is covered in John 2: 1-12 (paraphrasing) Jesus and Mary were attending a wedding in Cana when they ran out of wine. Mary told Jesus about it and he had jugs filled with water brought to him and he changed the water to wine.

One of 10 aisle windows. Each aisle window has 5 parts. The tops of  the windows will cover the 4 of the Joyous Mysteries of the Rosary and all 5 of the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary. The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
