Brief Description of Subject: Description: Quatrefoil at top contains a triangle with an eye in it -- "Eye of Providence" (the all seeing God). Below that is two doves -- doves mate for life and symbolize everlasting love probably meant for Joseph and Mary. Picture of Holy Family -- Mary is working a spinning wheel, Joseph is doing carpentry work and the young Jesus has a cross (crucifixion). There is a pigeon or dove at Jesus's feet getting some water -- possible representing the Spirit of God. Bottom quatrefoil contains the monogram "AM" for "Ave Maria".
