Subject/Title of Window: St. Jude Thaddeus

Brief Description of Subject: St. Jude Thaddeus is the author of the Epistle bearing his name and may have been the brother of James. Little is known about him, but we are told that he and St. Simon worked together and were martyred together. Hence, they have the same day on the calendar (October 28). St. Jude is shown holding an inverted cross (which is believed to be the manner of his death) and in the medallion we have a figure of a small ship, his traditional symbol.
