Subject/Title of Window: Tiffany Chandelier
Brief Description of Subject: Since the church was originally illuminated by gas fixtures, the fourteen well-proportioned chandeliers of Victorian style are a later addition to the interior of the church. Each chandelier has an octagonal outer ring consisting of forty light bulbs. The base of each one is a large bowl-like fixture which contains four large bulbs in its interior and which is surrounded by eight glass panels. The designs on these glass panels are liturgical motifs of grapes and wheat. The glass used in the fabrication is the famous Tiffany brand. When fully illuminated, this glass emits a soft warm glow through the base as well as from the octagonal ring of lights.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
