Brief Description of Subject: In the left panel at the top is a medallion that shows the winged horse Pegasus. Below him is Plato, then a medallion containing Plata with his teacher Socrates. At the bottom is Leonardo Da Vinci. The right panel at the top contains a medallion containing the lamp of knowledge and the names Wm. Rainey Harper and Edgar J. Goodspeed, quoted writers. The upper figure is Erasmus beneath his is a medallion containing Galileo and the lower figure is Charles Darwin.
