Subject/Title of Window: Servant Window

Brief Description of Subject: At the top is an image of Jesus washing a person’s feet.

The image in the center has the statement “The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve” (Matthew 20:28). Above that is Sheldon Jackson who worked with people in Alaska. Underneath is John Rankin, looking through a window and shielding people in the Underground Railroad. Through the window is someone with a gun and dogs on the lookout for those whom Mr. Rankin is protecting.

The phrase underneath reads, “You shall love one another as yourself” (Luke 10:27). Above that is a depiction of a food bank with a person giving food to a family.

Underneath is a picture of Dr. Albert Schweit-zer and a nurse caring for a person. On one side of Dr. Schweitzer is an image of the continent of Africa and on the other is an I.V.. A symbol of a heart is at the bottom of it all.
