Subject/Title of Window: Sing to God a new song
Brief Description of Subject: There are three music windows off the narthex, in the coat room area. There is a common border in all three of these windows, which depicts vegetation and various musical instruments.
The window on the right is the choral music window, at the bottom of which is the statement “Sing to God a new song” (Psalm 149:1). It depicts children playing various instruments and an adult vocal choir with organ pipes and a stained glass window in the background.
The stained glass windows were designed by Omnibus Studios in Okemos. Dick Hanley is the director of Omnibus, and our own Scott Arnold assisted in the project. Scott’s father, Lew Arnold, who was an active member of the choir, is depicted in this window.
