Brief Description of Subject: There are three music windows off the narthex, in the coat room area. There is a common border in all three of these windows, which depicts vegetation and various musical instruments.

The window on the right is the choral music window, at the bottom of which is the statement “Sing to God a new song” (Psalm 149:1). It depicts children playing various instruments and an adult vocal choir with organ pipes and a stained glass window in the background.

The stained glass windows were designed by Omnibus Studios in Okemos. Dick Hanley is the director of Omnibus, and our own Scott Arnold assisted in the project. Scott’s father, Lew Arnold, who was an active member of the choir, is depicted in this window.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact
