Subject/Title of Window: Eight Petal Flower
Brief Description of Subject: This is the third of four aisle windows visible on the Gospel side of the nave. Each window is made up of three lancets with the middle lancet containing a symbol. The Epistle side of the nave contains nearly identical windows. Each window is predominately decorative in nature with blue the featured color --- the traditional color associated with the Virgin Mary.
The symbol for this window appears to be an eight petalled flower. The number eight is the number of the Resurrection as Christ rose from the dead eight days after his entry into Jerusalem.
