Subject/Title of Window: Crucifixion; Resurrection

Brief Description of Subject: Gothic arched window with two lancets, each with an eight-pointed medallion above and below, and a round medallion above all. Right window shows Crucifixion of Our Lord. Our Lady stands at left, St. John the Evangelist at right. Medallion above shows a ladder, spear, and the sponge on a stick. Medallion below features crown of thorns and three nails [and indeed, Our Lord's feet are overlapped in the main picture].
Left window shows Our Lord appearing to St. Mary Magdalene outside His tomb. It is very early mornign, and a waxing crescent moon is in the sky [This is impossible. Our Lord was crucified at Passover, which always occurs at the full moon]. Medallion above depicts a bursting pomegranate. Bottom medallion shows a phoenix rising from a fire.
Medallion at top of window shows a peacock with outspread tail, symbol of resurrection.
