Brief Description of Subject: Fourth of seven panels by Dirk Thompson III that are designed to let light into the choir loft and to be consistent in design with the nave windows.

Inside the medallion in the center of this panel is a crown and a portate cross. A "portate cross" is an angled cross which is the position it would be in if you tried to bear the weight of a cross by putting its cross bar on your shoulder and the end resting on the ground.The crown of life is your reward for bearing your cross --- James 1:12 "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial, because having stood the test, that person will receive the CROWN OF (eternal) LIFE that the Lord promised."
