Building Name: Private ResidenceCity: Britton
Window Shape: 2 (rectangle)
Date of Window: 1868
Subject/Title of Window: Circle Bevel
Brief Description of Subject: A window like this was on each side of the larger window. A set of three. The upper corner glass was Blenko glass from West Virignia. They had their own sand supply. It's blown into a cylinder shape, opened and laid flat on a bed of charcoal, fired again to anneal and made less brittle. Cooled slowly.
The bevelled clear glass circles were put in where the Christian Medallions were taken out. Some of these medallions are mounted in a glass panel between the Narthex and the Chapel of the new church.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
